What is it that makes a garage a garage or a gallery a gallery? And what happens when they combine? This exhibition focused on the different uses of garages and the items that might be found there, using found and reclaimed objects to inspire new work

Artist and curator Lorsen Camps worked with Martin Green and Joanna Rucklidge to explore the relationship between their own personal collections of found objects and the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum’s collections

The exhibition marked the 10th anniversary of the Charity Shop Tour where Lorsen visited 1306 charity shops across the country. Objects that he’d bought were re-presented in this empty shop space-turned-gallery and new works inspired by them were showcased alongside
